Rates and service hours do vary according to the type of service needed. Life Touch Companion Care most always operates on an hourly basis, although rates can be negotiated for 24 hour care. Caregiver Services are available morning, daytime and evening, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Holiday Care is available for all Holiday’s. In most cases, temporary or permanent live-in assistance can be provided.

Life Touch management understands that education empowers team members to give more than just average care. General orientation training and company paid continuing education (CPR, First Aid, and many other certifications) is mandatory for everyone. Our primary instructor has nearly 50 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN), and as a qualified training specialist in the medical field.

We accept private pay and also long term health insurance for payment. At this time, government programs such as Medicare and Medicaid does not provide funding for nonmedical Home Care Services. However, if eligible, most long term insurance policies do cover (fully or partially) for in-home care, depending on the policy terms. If you or your loved one have long term health insurance, we would be happy to contact your provider to verify eligibility.

In most cases, Life Touch Companion Care can establish service the same day in an emergency situation. Ideally, we estimate 1-2 days for initial assessment and Caregiver assignment, upon approval from the individual or legal guardian. We want to ensure all basis are covered and that you are comfortable with the Caregiver that will be entering your home.

You can call or email us anytime to request a discreet no obligation appointment in your home or the home of a loved one. We will come to you at your convenience, and start setting up a plan of care immediately.

Absolutely. You being “The Boss” of who enters your home is extremely important to us! We realize that we are of no value if you are not comfortable with the Caregiver that comes to your home. Even after a Caregiver is assigned, and you or a loved one feels that they are not a proper fit or is uncomfortable for any reason, you may discreetly request a new Caregiver by contacting the manager assigned to you or your loved one.
